1968
The Company was founded by the Sparks family and the first launderette was opened at Meadowhead, Sheffield.

1971
Two more launderettes were purchased and the business became incorporated.  At this time it became obvious that while self service was very successful, customers were demanding more and more service and hence the dry-cleaning and laundry division was developed supplying customers with a wider range of services.  Richard Goodman joined the Company and the equipment Sales Division was launched with the Directors Richard Goodman and Roger Sparks running the business, selling, installing and servicing all the laundry equipment owned and supplied by the Company.

1973
The first Revenue Share (commonly known as 'Route operation') site was installed for Sheffield University at the Tapton Hall of Residence.

1974
The Company moved the office and workshop to premises on the former Norton Aerodrome.

1975
The first Norton Press was manufactured.

1979 
A formal Service Department was established as growth continued, hiring additional Engineers.

1985
The Cliffefield Road Head Quarters was purchased to accommodate the ever increasing staff, warehouse, workshop and stores facilities.

1991
Steady growth was maintained and Mastercare (Sheffield) was acquired.  This Division specialises in manufacturing and installing curtains and blinds, and the supply and installation of contract flooring.

1992
The Mastercare (Sheffield) operation was moved to Cliffefield Road where a large sewing room and vertical blind making facility were incorporated.

1994
A new liquid detergents division was launched providing automatic dosing equipment, detergents and additives for on-premise laundry sites.

1996
The Company celebrated 25 years of trading.

1999
A staff pension scheme was introduced.

2006
A fourth laundrette was acquired at Sharrow, Sheffield.
