New technology developed, installed and in full use at Universities across the USA is now available and fully supported in the UK by Goodman Sparks. This revolutionary system was developed by Alliance Laundry Systems and is available across their range of Speed Queen washers and dryers.

The new Wash Alert System™ is a software package that allows students to check from the convenience of their room over the Internet/Intranet, when a washer or dryer is available, determine when they should put their clothes in the dryer and view how much time is left for the machine to complete its cycle. Reserving a washer or dryer has never been easier. Just email the Wash Alert System™ and it notifies you when a machine is available.

Better still if the students choose to, they are able to log their details on the webpage and when their washing or drying has completed it's cycle they will receive an SMS text message to their mobile phone and/or an Email to notify them their laundry is ready for collection.

Wash Alert™ is not only a time-saver for students; universities benefit from it as well. The system verifies the income from coin/card vending laundry equipment ensuring greater revenue accountability.

The system’s remote diagnostic capability also gives our Engineers the capability (if permission is allowed by the customer) to monitor machine performance remotely which means faster response times should a machine failure occur.
